    Lumumba Vea

  • Lumumba Vea, the nickname of Congolese football supporter Michel Kuka, is known for his distinctive presence at DR Congo national team matches. Since 2013, he has stood completely motionless throughout games, imitating the pose of the statue of Patrice Lumumba, the independence leader and first Prime Minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in Kinshasa. His unique tribute has made him one of the most recognisable supporters of the DR Congo national team.
